Center for Integrated Care FAQs

No, we do not provide individual counseling at the Center for Integrated Care. Instead, our goal is to determine solution-focused strategies to help you move forward with wellness plans that are unique to you and your needs. In other words, we support you in identifying the barriers that are impacting your health and wellbeing, and then point you in the right direction.  Additionally, we work with you to create sustainable plans that you can use for your health and wellbeing, even beyond your time here at Charlotte!

Not at all! Our services are free to all students.

We realize that a student’s experience of health & wellness is often tied to their access to resources. We also realize that a student’s experience at Charlotte, and perhaps their persistence & matriculation are impacted by their health and wellbeing. Our goal is two-fold:

  1. to directly engage with students to address the barriers in access, while also providing tools and strategies to help them maintain wellness, and
  2. to examine the factors that are contributing to these issues for Charlotte students, so that the university is well suited to build upon current resources, in an informed and strategic manner.
