In an effort to support students returning to the university, the Center for Integrated Care will offer assistance coordinating care and developing wellness plans for those students re-entering Charlotte. Returning from leave due to a withdrawal for extenuating circumstances, and/or other health & wellness related issues can be overwhelming for many. The staff at the Center for Integrated Care can assist you with getting connected to a wealth of resources on and off-campus, that will support you as you pursue your degree. Our goal is to help you to the finish lineā¦..as a 49er that experiences wellness in all dimensions.
Students that might benefit from re-entry support include:
- Students in need of discharge support from medical or mental health hospitalization stay
- Students returning to the university following leave (i.e. post withdrawal for extenuating circumstances, academic leave, etc.)
- Students that have experienced difficulties navigating barriers to access of health & wellness resources
- Students overwhelmed coordinating multiple resources upon re-entry and in need of support balancing with academic demands
- Students awaiting connection to long-term community support
