BSW Interns

The Center for Integrated Care at Charlotte offers part-time field placement opportunities for BSW students in the final year of their program. The focus of the placement will center around referral coordination. In this capacity, Interns will work with students presenting with concerns that are out of scope for brief therapy or those who need a higher level of care. Interns will meet with students for referral coordination appointments to assist them in getting connected to providers and resources in the community. Interns will also assess potential barriers to treatment, foster motivation and readiness for engaging in treatment, and assist students with referral and insurance information, guidance, support, and follow-up.
