Hey there! My name is Terrence and I am one of the psychologists at the Center for Integrated Care.  Much of my career has been spent assessing and addressing the mental health needs of underserved students, particularly students of color, via social justice counseling and outreach.  Though my role at CIC is not clinical, my work remains guided by the principles of social justice counseling and community psychology. I’m an ardent believer that true, radical healing goes beyond just coping with life circumstances and entails empowerment and thriving that are enhanced by living life in community with others.  My colleagues and I have a passion for creating spaces of belonging and thriving for folx who have been historically overlooked or marginalized by oppressive systems.  At CIC, I work with campus and community partners to ensure that feedback from Charlotte students about their holistic experiences on campus is implemented into the programs and services offered by the Office of Health and Wellbeing.

Outside of work, I am active in my faith community and I am an avid fan of the superhero genre (Marvel, DC, all that good stuff!).
