Hi! My name is Emily and I am an Associate Director at the Student Health Center (SHC). My role focuses on the clinical services provided at the SHC including nursing, x-ray, lab, and nutrition. I also provide oversight in identifying barriers to access to any of the SHC services and lead efforts to remove those barriers to ensure all students can benefit from SHC services and programs. My responsibilities also include creating strategies for campus engagement to increase awareness of the resources available at the Student Health Center that help support students’ health and wellbeing. My interests include preventive healthcare and promotion of healthy habits that establish all around wellbeing.
I am a proud graduate of Charlotte’s School of Nursing and appreciate the experience of working at my alma mater. Go Niners! When not at work, I love spending time outside especially with my dog. I enjoy spending time at the lake and the ocean, but I do enjoy mountain hikes as well.
