Post MSW Fellowship

The Center for Integrated Care at Charlotte offers a one year Post-MSW Fellowship for those who have completed an MSW degree from an accredited CSWE program. Fellows will develop skills in brief intervention, brief assessment, and crisis assessment/intervention. Fellows will also have the opportunity to provide individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, triage, initial consultations, supervision, outreach and programming. The fellowship is grounded in the core principles of ethical and social justice-oriented clinical social work practice in a mental health setting utilizing an integrative model of therapeutic and community-based interventions at the individual, small group and campus level. Fellows are also expected to commit to the development of cultural humility and anti-racism through self-examination and participation in university-based outreach and prevention services for both the general student population and underrepresented groups on campus. Eliminating health disparities and ensuring that all students have equal access to high quality and culturally competent health care and services is vital to the mission of the Center for Integrated Care. We are committed to recruiting fellowship candidates from diverse backgrounds in support of having a counseling staff that reflects the diversity of our student population.
